The Santa Clara Vanguard Drumline won the Fred Sanford high percussion award at the 2014 DCI World Championships.

Under the direction of Paul Rennick, the drumline received a score of 19.70 from Allan Kristensen and a 19.80 from Caleb Rothe for a total percussion score of 19.80.

Performing an updated rendition of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Scheherazade,” the corps place fourth overall.

The Drumline Chops team captured some high quality audio tracks of the SCV drumline playing through some of their show prior to their semi-finals competition.
